Gallery of projects

Everything we do at Kenny Sweeps is about attention to detail - we're proud of the quality and workmanship of our services and we're hoping that's catching!

As we're often asked about what's involved in a given service or project, we've put together a gallery of projects for you to look through.

We doubt you'll find it as interesting as we do... but that's why we do what we do!

Chamber and stove installation

Stage 1: Chamber is boarded, tiled and hearth is layed.
Stage 2: stove is installed and put into commision.

 Chimney rebuild and stove installation

Stove sweep and service

This stove had been in comission for several years but ran to hot causing significant damage to the components within the fire box.
Stage 1: Assess the damage and remove all components disgarding all that are effected.
Stage 2: The chinmey is swept.
Stage 3: Stove is reassembled with all new parts and all damaged ropes and seals are replaced ready to burn again.

Chimney stack takedown and rebuild

Once the damage and risks involved have been assessed a method of takedown is agreed with client.
Once a method is agreed upon the stack is then carefully taken down and rebuilt to the highest of standards.
On this particular job all of the damaged bricks were replaced, whilst all of the pots and original stock brick used for the over sail courses were salvaged and reused.

Stove & Mantle Installation

On this particular job the Mantle was installed first, with a Classic Eco 8 installed and put into commission once the mantle had been securely fixed and plastered in to the highest of standards.

Wall removal to create open plan living & dinning space

we start out by making sure the room is cleared enough to work safely covering & and protecting anything that is left in the room right before we ensure all ceilings or joist are adequately proped.

The wall is then carefully and safely removed.

The steal beam is then lifted into place & carefully leveled before concrete pads stones are installed under each end.

Once the padstones are safely cured the props are removed and the old kitchen door studded out ready to be boarded out and skimmed by the plaster.

Garden Wall

On this small project we removed an old perished garden wall, cleaned off the copings before rebuilding the wall in nice new brick and capping with the original copings.

Decrative Retaining Wall

On this particular project we carried out all work from digging out and pouring the concrete footings to completion and capping off the brick before backfilling with gravel for optimal drainage to ensure the finshed product looks its best and lasts as it should while providing easy access to the top section of the garden.
